Breastfeeding: best for babies

"Isulong ang breastifeeding, sa isipan isalin, para malusog si baby sa kanyang paglaki, kaya ikaw mommy, kumain ng healthy. You're on the right track mommy. Go,go lang for baby!." One of the few lines in our nutrijingle in the tune of Born this Way.
Breastfeeding is the process of feeding a new born baby with milk directly from the breast milk of human females that provides  all the nutrients that a baby needs, as well as the substances that promote growth and help fight infection. Breast milk has the perfect combination of proteins, fats, vitamins, and carbohydrates. There is nothing better than breast milk for the health of a new born baby. As the infants immune system grows better, the concentration of antibodies and anti infection as the milk gradually declines. If the baby will have his/her milk from his mother, the infant will become stronger and  healthier. Colostrum is the first breast milk that the infant take from the mammary gland of a mother. It is also contains antibodies from the mothers immune system that will help the infant fight off infections and diseases. They said that it is a yellowish liquid, which contains less fat and lactose. What the mother will intake ,it is also the food that the infant will get. The breast milk has lots of nutritional value.

The mother wants her baby to be healthy because he is a gift given by God. She must secure the health of the baby. For him to grow strong and healthy. If a mother gives breast milk to her baby, more likely there is stronger bond between the mother and the baby.  The child is not prone to diseases    and has a stronger immune system. There is a possibility that the child will grow healthy. Breast milk is indeed the best for babies.

CHANGE is what we want

Dear Sir President,

               Greetings of Peace!

How many months have passed since you were elected as our President. We your countrymen had many expectations on you. One of which are the projects that you will put up. We all know that our country’s economic status is decreasing. Everybody demand change. One of the problems faced by our parents is the continuous increase of tuition fee. Why don’t you do something to control the fee in schools? We don’t want that our country will be the last in terms of education. We know that you can bring our country higher. We thank you for starting changing our country. There are many issues that we’ve heard on the news, one of which is the K+12. 2 years have been added in the education. If students to start at SY: 2012-2013. How can you plan to add 2 more years in the basic education if we are faced with many problems in education?. Why not settle the problems first and prepare the plans before the initial stage? Some of these problems are the low income of teachers, lack of books and school buildings, lack of teachers and poor quality of education.

There are many concerns we have now. One of which is the Reproductive Health Bill and the Divorce Bill. I don’t want to let the divorce bill be passed in our country. Having the Divorce bill have a great impact in the life of each child. We don’t want that our parents will have their divorce someday. Once that the divorce bill will be implemented I think many of the families will be destroyed. Many children may become a problem because of lack of proper guidance and moral support. From parents. The more that good values will be forgotten.

I think Mr. President that you should think one thousand times before you implement something. You should think of the welfare of your fellowmen. I know that you can do something for us, the youth.

                 More powers!
