What does it take to be an ICT student?

When I was still in my elementary years,  We were already dealing with computers. We started from its basic.  Then, the computer  served as my friend until now. But when I entered high school, I didn’t thought of having  ICT as a subject.  From first year to fourth year, our teachers had taught us how to deal with computers and the things I had learned  became deeper.

I consider ICT as  wonderful,  and there are lots of  information that we must know.  Our society now is becoming complex due to the advanced  technology. Everywhere we  go, we can always  meet people with  computers. All these years I have learned a lot. Like the history of the computers, making and using a tags, making a web design the  persons behind this and many more.

To be an ICT student we need to love all the things that we learn. It can give us many information and idea and we can  use these in the future.

My Dream, My Future

“Never let go of a dream until you are ready to wake up and make it happen.” In my sixteen years of existence in this wonderful world. I knew that every single person  in this lifetime have its own dream.  A dream which may lead them to be successful or a dream that will let them  go down. We don’t have any idea on what will be the things that will happen in the near future. Only God knows  the answers.

When I was still a small girl, someone asked me on what I want to become in the future. So I hurriedly told that I want to become a teacher. But then my mother told me that being a teacher is hard and it requires  great responsibilities. As time passed by, I taught of becoming an accountant or taking up the course  Information Technology . Some told me that I must follow what’s in my heart. So I decided to take up accountancy. But wait a minute. Something is bothering my mind. These passed few days I had a hard time choosing  what course I am  going to take up. It’s either accountancy or engineering because I like these two courses. But then I really want  accountancy. So I was dreaming to becoming an accountant someday , have a stable job and  conquer all my dreams.

I will try all my best so that I can pursue all my dreams,t0  overcome all my fears in lifeso that I can surpass also the challenges that GOD will  give me.

Reflection

How many months had passed. Our graduation is now coming nearer and nearer. We will now leave this school, to face the other chapter of our life,COLLEGE LIFE. Third grading is now over.

During our third grading period, I learned about HTML Tags; their uses and meanings. I also learned to apply the other tags like applying color, image, hyperlinks and many more. I had a great time in making our Web Design, for how many days. Fortunately, we submitted it on time. Our project is about the Festivals of Vigan City. But the most important thing is that I can now make a web design.

I hope that I will learn another topic so that I can use this in everyday. I think that I will encounter this again for the future.

New Year, New Beginning

Everybody has the change to change for the better. Every day is a new opportunity to transform. I believe that there is a door to change.

At the beginning of the year of the Dragon. I told to myself that I will become a strong girl who can stand by my own feet. Do the things that is possible and to have a confidence to myself. And I will bear to think positive and all the good vibes will be there. There are lots of things in life that I wanna do, to become a better person, to finish my studies and many more. As I tried to reminisce all the things that I have done last year. I become lazy sometimes, spent my money easily and being irresponsible in some ways. But I do all my best ti change for the betterment of my future.

I know that all of us want to become a better person someday. The only thing that I may say is that don't lose hope. When we want to become a successful we must  open our mind to see and to do all the things. When life tests you, we must not think negative thoughts. just let the good vibes govern our life. And we will soon see our life with the positive things all the way. We must totally change change for the better.

I AM PROUD TO BE AN ILOCANO!!

The first thing we learn is our native language. It is the main means of communication. Only a few, use Filipino or English as a means of communicating with one another. It is only when the child enters the school that he is introduced to the Filipino or English language. Most often than not,  even if we are old we still use our mother tongue.

Being familiar with our native language is good. We carry our being as an Ilocano everywhere we go. We can relate to our Fellow Ilocanoes and we understand one another. However, there comes a time that we need to be open to other languages like Filipino or English. This is because we need these in our work, education and specially to understand other people. Unless we are open, we can never grow. This is also our means of uplifting our morale and confidence to be a better person. We become competitive which will open the way to more opportunities for us. Thus developing our potentials.

However we must not forget our mother tongue, because it is in going back to what we have learned before that pushes us to move on. We should be humble and live simple. And one way is by using our native language. We should remember that what we are today is because of what we are then. We should be proud of our mother tongue. Forgetting our native language is like disregarding our past which is contributory to what we are today. I AM PROUD TO BE AN ILOCANO!!

True Essence of Christmas

Christians all over the world celebrate Christmas in December 25. This is a special holiday for us to have a family gathering, colorful decorations in our houses, exchange of gifts, and even singing of christmas songs. Many people also take part in religious services.

Christmas is a sacred season where we commemorate the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. Every person usually says "Merry Christmas" to every one. We usually do a merry making. Some people are being materialistic sometimes when Christmas is coming. But they forget what the true essence of Christmas. Do you still remember those? For sure, some of us don't know what it is. Love is one of the essence of Christmas. It is a way to show love to God, family, friends, relatives and everyone. Gift giving is also a way of expressing our love to others. It is a sign of gratitude to the people whom helped us. We also say sorry to all the persons we've hurt. Thank You to all the persons who helped us made our life colorful, directed us to the right path and who molded us. We also forgive the persons who hurt us. These are some of the ways to show the true essence of christmas.

We must always remember all of them not only for Christmas Day but forever and everyday. Let us have christmas season everyday. Let us bear in mind that the true spirit of Christmas is in our heart.
